Prospective foster parent must complete application and agreement.

Prospective foster parent must comply with statements on agreement form.

HSU will provide:

·          Bag of food monthly

·         Heartworm prevention monthly

·         Flea/tick prevention monthly

·         Medication as needed

·         Obedience classes

·         Grooming  ( Cori Petty 830 278 2400 or Gaye Faglie 830 591 3939 )

·         Care package to include:  shampoo, toy…

Foster parents are expected to:

·          Feed food approved by HSU

·         Exercise the pet

·         Socialize the pet

·         Provide shelter and caring home

·         Keep heartworm and flea prevention current monthly

·         Make sure pet is groomed and clean at all times

·         Be available to show foster pet when people are interested

·         Take pet to vet when needed

·         Attend adoption function

·         Teach basic obedience and manners (training is available)
